Hello! I am currently in production of a film and I need help figuring out how I'm going to get all my footage to have the same frame rate.
My footage is being shot on a Panasonic GH1 at 24fps and a Panasonic HDC-SDT750 which I believe is shooting at 60i (30fps) (don't ask me why it was shot this way, it was not my choice)
I need to figure out how I can either make my GH1 footage go to 30fps smoothly or my my HDC footage go to 24fps smoothly (which is what I prefer)
In my trials I have put the footage on a 1920x1080 24p timeline and the GH1 footage is great like normal but the HDC footage "skips frames" and makes it look jumpy. I have also tried putting the footage on a 1920x1080 30p timeline and the HDC footage looks fine but my GH1 footage is now "choppy" because it adds in duplicate frames to compensate for the 6 frames that it lacks.
This is getting really frustrating and I have to find an answer soon. I have tried looking at other forums for an answer but I'm coming up with nothing. Someone please help me!
