frame rate change on dvd studio pro HELP

I am importing 23.98 footage from FCP using compressor, but every time it loads up, it shows as 29.97. Can anyone help me out? i've been trying to figure this out for a while. I've tried re-exporting the footage.

yeah i finally got to that link after i made the thread, but i'd still like to hear what other people have to think about this.
 
24p or 24pa? - 24p converts to 29.97 for the timeline and 24pa stays at 23.976 throughout the whole process. someone like barry green should confirm this.
 
My footage was 24pa. I used compressor from a quicktime reference file that was set to current settings from the timeline in FCP. The resulting file says it is 23.98 from the movie property window in Quicktime. It imports into DVD SP as 23.98 in the asset column. Then it mysteriously changes to 29.97 when it is dropped on the track or timeline in DVD SP. Any advice?
 
Have you stepped through it frame-by-frame and confirmed that every 5th frame is interlaced? If you have stepped through it with no interlacing, it is 23.98; if there is interlacing (every 5th frame) then it is 29.97.
 
O.K., thanks Blaine. No interlacing, just a repeated frame. It must be just reporting it incorrectly in the inspector. Cheers.
