Frame blend?

A lot of the work I do involves getting sped-up or slow-mo footage. Premiere Pro 2 has frame blending on by default and I'm not a big fan of it. Makes the footage blurry and weird. Is there a way to turn it off by default?

sorry I read the post again, and I don't think you can turn it off by defalt. Just have to do it indivudually.....which sucks

just to update all of you - i found a way to globally turn it off (sorta). since the premiere project files are just xml, you can open it in any text editor, search for <FrameBlend>true</FrameBlend> and change the true to false - works best after all your footage is imported
enjoy!

Way to go! I hate having to do that with all my footage. Now, is this a good idea with 24p footage on a 24p timeline? I'd like to do it to only the 60i footage.

In other words, will turning off frame blend on 24p footage mess it up?
