Hi,

Has anyone actually bought one of these units? Looking at photos and videos, they seem pretty promising, but searcing youtube and google etc etc, I cant find any user photos or videos, which makes me think they havn't actualy sold any... Has anyone got one, or have any experience of the foveas focus system?

I hadn't seen that viewfactor system. Is there a more accurate ETA on the redrock system? I am in the market for one of these in the next 2-3 months, and Im thinking i should just buy a bartech system...

Dont buy a remote FF with out testing it throughly. There are many pitfalls along the way(latency,torque,channels...etc). If you can afford it ,the cheapest unit you should get is the bartech follow focus with the M1 motor.

Fantastic products and incredible customer support. A total uint wil cost around 5K. A full unit from preston would cost you +20K.

You can find bartech and M1 being used on hollywood sets all the time.

Just a suggestion,

Mm yeah, very nice stuff, but that motor is 2000 dollars plus the 4000ish for the bartech, versus the 1500 of the foveas, I can warrent the 800 pounds on the foveas, it might not be as professional but it works and would be fine for what i need, but I cant really warrent the 4000 quid needed for a bartech system...
