Four Red Heads with stands and case for $600 - A good deal?

[jordini99]

I came across this kit on craigslist:

Does that sound like a good deal or just mediocre?

I paid over a thousand for 4 redheads in Vegas....Oh....wait...different kind of redhead!

...Nevermind.

I think its a good deal...the only downside is that they are all 1k lights...be nice if they can take lower wattage lamp (maybe they can, i've never owned one)

[jordini99]

Does that mean that replacement bulbs will be really expensive?

[thekreative]

did you buy them? super good deal. you can get lower watt bulbs it is 1k max.

[jordini99]

Yeah, I made an offer on them.

How much do replacement bulbs of that type cost roughly?

[Erik Olson]

About $20, but if the Moles have clean bases, you should enjoy very long globe life. Great fixtures, incredible price!
