Quick question on these (I picked up a couple this past week at Home Depot). If you are using batteries (and this is the reason for this light I believe), are you using rechargeable or regular bats. Also why the choice?

DAmn dude where have you been? MArk and i shot 1/2 of Bloody mary with thoes bad boys! they are about 3000K and the 32k preset actually works with them. plus they have no pulsing cause of the DC current.
also make sure you get the "Soft White" replacement bulbs. the stock bulbs are WAY blue. but not quite Daylight, so they kinda dont work anywhere unless you gel them, then they lose too much power.
