Found a Decomposed Body

Found a decomposed body while we were digging a hole for a swimming pool in New Zealand. The first two photo’s is of the forensic team going over the details of the body.

The third photo is the body lying in the back of the forensic teams truck.

The very last photo is of the body going through customs.

Okay I best fess up before someone gets upset - This body was custom built for my New Zealand film 'Dark Past'. The photo of it going through customs was taken as I was entering into New Zealand with it. It sure got a lot of attention from Customs and Media.

This body looks real enough to fool people thinking it is real.
 
Damn dude... I think you should delete the explanation and go with the BRILLIANT idea you have here! I was feeling sick to my stomach looking at your grabs... you had me hook, line, and sinker.

That is a freakin' BRILLIANT way to promote a film! Man... I'm tempted to shoot something and get the ball rolling like that... the 'ole Blair Witch trick strikes again!
 
I thought about not letting on that it is for my film but than I thought with my luck I would get kick off this form for having a photo of a corpse :-)
 
The full head of hair (in relation to the rest of the decayed body) had me suspicious right away.

And on second thought... Just think of how much fun it would be, to see the looks on the customs people as they discover the "body"! LOL!

I was thinking, "wow hair stairs in tact with that much decomposition?" rather than "that's BS what a fake!" Great job.

Actually hair can stay a long time depending on the area where one dies. I just got back from training at the Body Farm located in Tennessee. There was a body that was mummified with very long hair there. This person has been dead for over 25 years.

I think with my mummified body it would have been better to have the hair thinned out somewhat and not so thick.

A friend of mine was the one that got a hold of the person to make this body for my film. It took about 3 months but I don’t know what he used to make it with.
