Found a cheap source for skateboard wheels...

Walking through my local Wal-Mart's sporting goods section, I stumbled upon an endcap filled with small skateboards that were clearance-priced at $5.47 each. They had nice wheels that had some decent bearings. I bought 4 of the skateboards and removed the wheels for my dolly project. They work very well. Especially if you put a lot of weight on them. Just thought I'd share this with anyone else looking for cheap wheels.

cool, me too! I think I need better bearings..... maybe I'll have some luck with these.

Hey... glad I could help in any way. The bearings aren't the best, but a shot of spray lube and they roll very nicely with some weight on them. I spent around $22 for 16 wheels and bearings. Plus I have a bunch of leftover skateboard parts. This is what they look like in case anyone is interested:
