Fostex told me the s/n ratio of dc-r302 -- Where does it stand?

"The S/N ratio is as follows.

S/N ratio (A-weighted):
LINE: more than 95dB (INPUT GAIN -10dBV)
MIC: more than 55dB (INPUT GAIN Max / 150 ohm loaded)"

So I'm trying to understand how this compares with the tascam dr680 etc or what you would get from a mixpre line out into a dr-100 mkii.

Any idea? This chart: http://www.avisoft.com/recordertests.htm is very useful but I don't see any category that says s/n ratio specifically.
Where would the new fostex fit on this chart I wonder?

Also does this mean that the internally recorded audio would be equal to 95bd at the line level? And the mic level which is fed into the cam would be significantly worse? Thanks.

EDIT: Ok so I have just learned that the s/n ratio IS listed on that chart as "dynamic range" which you all probably know is the same thing. I bet the actual number is more like 85 but still it's up there with the best recorders. I still want to know if the line signal can be fed into the camera though and not the mic signal. Obviously it would have to be modified with a cable but wouldn't it end up being cleaner.
