Formatting question (IM/chat)

I am writing a scene for a short where a character (Jane) is on the sofa, doing instant messaging live chat back and forth with someone over the net. Let's call them Jane111 and Joe222 for the sake of discussion. What is the best way to write this into a script? Can or should it be done as dialog somehow? Or should I leave it as I currently have it, like this:

INSERT SENDER CHAT MESSAGE: i can help you out (Joe222)

INSERT REPLY CHAT MESSAGE: don't need help (Jane111)

no experience with any of my scripts, but you may want to check out the script to closer, i know they used im chatting in it
