R radar Active member Jul 2, 2009 #1 if i am using a g-raid mini 7200rpm drive for capture/light editing... should i format it mac os extended, or journaled? this drive will only be used for media i.e. final cut pro documents and xdcam bpav's. thanks

NoahK Hottie Mod Jul 2, 2009 #2 Not a huge difference- the advice used to be don't use journaled because it caches and can impact performance. Personally I've found it doesn't really matter. Noah
