I'm thinking through the possibilities...
(I am going for a PC Laptop and Apple Desktop workflow here... PC with external hard-drive.)
Would it benefit me to format the external hard drive with the HVX200? If I did that would I still be able to use it with the PC (to drag and drop files onto)? If I did, would I still be able to use the external hard drive with my PC and a program like DVC RACK (coming soon... or DV Rack in the meantime)? If the HVX200 formats the drive, does it format it as a FAT32?
The reason I ask, is because I'd like to be able to use the hard drive with my HVX (to dump files directly to)... as well as with my PC... and to attach to my Mac to drop off files for editing.
