Formatting a series of lengthy shots to dissolve between...

At a particularly poignant moment of a screenplay (spec) there are a few shots that are to be shown in succession, and dissolving between them has the most impact. It could be considered integral to the story telling. A series of quick cuts would be a jarring mood-killer. I am trying to find the proper way to format this section.

I currently have:

SERIES OF SHOTS: (DISSOLVE BETWEEN)
A) described shot
B) described shot
C) described shot.

I am concerned about whether this will fly, though. Some other options that have occurred / been suggested are:

1.
MONTAGE:
A) described shot.
B) described shot.
C) described shot.

2.
listing each shot with a slug and having DISSOLVE TO: before each one. This seems ridiculously cumbersome.

3.
DISSOLVE BETWEEN A SERIES OF SHOTS:
A)
B)
C)

Thanks for any help...

I'd prefer to call out the transition in the screenplay just to ensure that the director will allow enough footage for the dissolves. Just a way of keeping Murphy at bay.

Peace,
