How much difference in quality is there between polarizers from these three companies?

(Price Low to High)

Formatt ($149.95)

LEE ($168.95

Schneider ($176.50 + it takes 2-4 weeks to ship)

Mainly what Im wondering is there a huge difference in quality between the different brands to warrant me buying the Lee over the Formatt, or Schneider over the Lee/Formatt.

Are any of these considered "bad brands" (ex: Tiffen)

Thanks for any advice given!

Schneider makes some very bold claims for their True Pol polarizers. I don't know about the one you linked to, but the True Pol is supposed to be as good as they get.

A 4x4 True Pol carries an MSRP of $206. I don't know if B&H carries them, but you can get them at EVS.

If you want a steal of a deal, Century's selling 4x4 Circular 85 True Pol's at under $100 during part of their clearance sale. That's a 4x4 True-Pol polarizer, but circular instead of linear (irrelevant for a DVX, but may be better for some other types of cameras), and it's a combination of a #85 and a polarizer. That means that if you were shooting in daylight conditions, you'd set your camera to tungsten. The DVX is a little cleaner, noise-wise, in the 3200k preset as compared to the 5600 preset, so it could mean a little less noisy picture too.

I don't remember where the link to the .PDF is; perhaps calling Century would be the best way to go.
