Format questions

I'm still new to the formatting issues...

I'm filming a feature that I plan to push at festivals, and at some point do online PPV showings. I'm shooting 24p and rendering video to DVD Architect 24p Widescreen video stream, and the audio as an AC-3 file. At that point, I'll render the two files together to make on big MPEG and then burn it to DVD. Is this the right way of doing this for the purposes I've listed above?

No. You can't bring an AC-3 file into Vegas.

DVD Architect will join the audio and video for you -- just be sure to give them the same file name and save them to the same folder.
