forget how to do.......

[logicfilms]

Ok I forget how to do this in Vegas I need to have a title at the top of a scene and have the rider ride through it,as the rider rides by the title goes behind him.

You want the rider inside the text of the title, or you want the rider to ride through a letter's gap in the title? That would be a duplicated title track, then adding track motion to have the title follow the rider off the screen.

You mean, have the title on top of the video, but then a single element of the video -- the rider -- moves over the top of the title?

If it's against a blue sky, you could probably key out the sky. You'd have three layers -- the bottom being the original video, the middle being the title, and the top being the video with the sky keyed out.
