For those of you who like Computers and Science

I'm glad to see that not only are we technology-obsessed, but that we (at least a few of us) are interested in the science behind the tech.

A former TA of mine works with Seth Lloyd (the guy who'll probably be known as the father of Quantum Computing in the next couple decades). Imagine cpus clocked at -Thz (Terahertz) that come in cell phone-sized housings...kinda like if RED decided to make computers. =)

To hell with Moore's Law! =P

Chaos theory explains everything.... just ask my family ;-0

Seriously, chaos theory is a big interest of mine, how the smallest things can trigger huge unforseen events.... A big theme in my writing, the seeming randomness of cause & effect. For you fellow writers, it's an inspiring train of thought.

BTW, great site

yea, I thought I Liked Quatum Computers, but my interest has fained, probably because I can't solve (for my self, yet) the wave functions and how qubits map to good 'old binary:

I'll stick to classical Von Neumann computing for now...
