Well, here it goes... I'm selling a DVX-100 NTSC with a few goodies. All is in excellent condition, camera includes original shipping box, user guide, papers, etc... And includes original battery, charger and all other standard accessories.

The camera was purchased in June of 2003 from B&H, so almost 1.5 years old. Still includes manufacturer warranty card if the buyer cares to register this camera with Panasonic. ;)

Also includes:
  • One additional 2400mAh battery and two additional 3500mAh batteries (the 2 3500mah batteries were purchased through the battery deal here on DVXuser).
  • Black Kata soft case with Panasonic / DV Cinema embroidered logos.
  • Century Optics 0.7X Wide Angle Lens (a very nice pice of glass).
  • 72mm UV filter.
This camera has only been fed with Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ "Master Quality" tapes and I'll include a brand new 5-pack with the camera.

Usage on this camera has been very light, only a few hours here and there as I found myself using an XL1 most of the time due to the multitude of lens options. While this has been a superb camera, I'm selling with the plans of purchasing an XL2 very soon.

I'm asking $3,100 or best reasonable offer. And I really don't want to put it on eBay. I'm located in Golden, CO so if anyone interested is in the Denver area, I would be glad to make arrangements if you want to see the camera.

I have taken some pictures of the camera and all the gear and they are available on request as I haven't had time to post them up here, besides posting a bunch of pics would just eat up bandwidth. I'll have them online on my site in the next few days or I can email them to anyone who asks.

I may be willing to sell the Century Optics 0.7X wide angle adapter lens separately since I have had a couple people ask. The bag and additional batteries as well as all the standard included accessories will sell with the camera.

So, I'm asking $2,600 OBO for the camera, Kata bag and all other accessories + tapes.

$575 OBO for the 0.7X Wide Lens.

$3,100 OBO for all.

i am just responding to your dvx100 you had to sell. I am an aspiring film student from California studying in Vancouver, Canada and have fallen in love with the dvx100. I have worked with it on about 4 shoots and have been searching for about 3 months now to find one that is in my budget. I am will to pay $2700 US for the whole package. thanks again for your time and hopefully we will met up one day when we are both famous and living the dream!

Since I'm not really in a hurry to sell it, nor do I have a real need to do so, other than I just haven't used the camera as much as I thought I would, I can't let it go for that cheap. At least not yet...

I also just checked the hour meter and to my utter astonishment there's still under 30 hours on the thing and I've owned it for since about June 25, 2003. :o I'm currently working on a small project with the camera and will probably put 7 to 10 more hours on the unit in the next few days, then I can pack it up and sell it to anybody who wants to meet my price or come pretty close to it. I was planning on moving over to an XL2, but I'm demoing one now and there's just not enough camera there to justify me switching over. I'd rather wait and see what comes out with the new HDV cams next year. But if someone really wants to buy my DVX, it's here... If it sells, I think I can live without it for a few more months until Sony's HDR-Z1 HDV camera comes along.
