For only $640? 49-inch HDTV with 3D and 4K resolution, a sound bar and subwoofer

Looks interesting. Seiki has a 55" 4k for $799. If you read the reviews on the currently available 4k TV's, there are still a lot of complaints about upscaling, low refresh rates, etc, so I think I'm going to wait a few months. I'm hearing there will probably be a 4K glut near the end of 2014, with a lot of newer and better spec'd models than we see now, at significantly lower prices.

Personally, I'm waiting for a really good 4k computer monitor from NEC. Have come to really like the automated calibration through their NEC-only Spectraview software. Still no announcements from them, unfortunately. Looks like we're gonna need a DisplayPort-capable card to get anything above 30Hz.

In the mean time will have to be satisfied with looking at 1080P reductions from the GH4. Which are pretty spectacular in their own right, and which make the GH4 worthwhile even if you never plan to release a UHD piece.

Looked at some 4k tv's at Best Buy a few days ago. The sample videos were so egregiously over sharpened, over saturated, and max'd out on the contrast that the images looked like they had been upscaled from a smartphone. Makes ya wonder.
