LOL, no that picture was sent to me by a friend. Many days that avatar expresses how I feel on set: beating back into my audio cave playing with "my precious" mixer.

I'm a 7506 man despite having trying to switch to other choices several times.

that's awesome! i will say that you may want to give them a second look as they are a damnsight more comfortable (they go all the way over the ear).

Oh. I thought the sm3 was only hotplug for the camera, so I got the SM4 which said it connects to a boom pole... And yeah, it is too late. It would have been cheaper that way too. Yes, I got the 9' carbon fiber gitzo, and I didn't buy and xlr cause I already have two pretty long cables already.

And I have those bose on ear headphones (they are actually my dad's but he will probably let me borrow them...)

actually I think I just got the wrong one. what is a stand-mount? Will I even be able to use the sm4 on a boom pole? I think i'll just have to call them and see if I can exchange them...
