Veteran
Alex Lindsey of the Pixel Corps is having what seems like a free seminar Tues in NYU at Tisch (NYU). Check out the link, it's on HD production and broadcasting over broadband. Here is the email I got:

Join Alex Lindsay for two seminars on media production, Tuesday, April 18th at
the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Alex will cover HD production in the
afternoon and the business and technology of broadband production at 7pm...

1:00pm - Room 006
So what does it take to build a network commercial from scratch? Join Alex
Lindsay for a breakdown of a recent commercial produced for Nickelodeon. Alex
will walk you through an all-greenscreen, 3D environment commercial shot using
a tapeless HD process. This is really an extension of Alex's last NYU talk on
1080p HD acquisition.

7:00pm - Room 017
Internet Video is about to explode. Podcasting is only the beginning as
broadcasters, filmmakers, and amateurs compete for attention in the newest media
arena. The Pixel Corp's Alex Lindsay will show various forms of broadband
content production, from basic audio to 1080p Podcasts. The Pixel Corps
currently does production on some of the largest podcasts in the world.
