Footage problems

the footage i have been editing has been looking fine, until today, i turned my computer on to find that it has turned v v dark and changed the colour to an odd orange, i seriously need to rectify this ASAP, can anyone give me any ideas as to what may have caused this problem??

I have read a few forums explaining that it must be the lcd monitor on the camera being to light, But this is not the case here the footage was on my computer looking as it should until today
 
Your computer monitor could be failing. But then everything would look orange. Or more likely magenta or yellow if you have a bad CRT. If you can post a clip maybe we can tell what happened.
 
I dont think its the monitor everything else seems to be playing fine, will post a clip up for you to have a look. Any ideas what it could be ??
