I've been providing stock footage for news programs for a while now. The quality isn't critical, so they have me just burn the footage to DVD, which is pretty easy.
But I have a new project that needs the cleanest source I have, which are .MOV files. I'm finding it rather tricky to figure out how to hand someone a 3G or 4G file. Hard to upload to a server & hard to download without timing out, hard to put it on any kind of disk without compressing it first.
What does everyone else do? Mailing a hard drive seems a bit expensive & potentially fraught with disaster.
