follow focus

[link]

hey fellow dvxers!

what are the best and least expensive options for a follow-focus rig to be used with a 35mm adapter and Nikon Lenses ?

There is something called the indiefocus, but I don't remember the internett adress. www.cavision.com are selling followfocuses, and im sure they have something for your use. Just send an e-mail or call them.

I'm in the process of doing a complete review of the indiFocus. For the English version, see here : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/cinedv/ffocus_english.htm

The stages of my review completed so far include pictures of Nikkor lenses with the indiFocus accessories. Hope this helps.

Hey that's a great product review, and the best I've read of the indie focus. I'm glad to be aware of the limitations of the product (still seems like a great deal). As for the gear ring slipping off, that's normal and dependent on lens design. It seems like that could be solved with a wider gear ring.

Once again, great review, can't wait for the rest!

I am awaiting Redrock's follow focus. It is looking sweet.

Many thanks to you. I'll complete it as soon as possible.

I am (and will be) looking into that one as well. I'm on their preorder list, and if we can work out a reasonable deal, I'll review it as well.
