Follow Focus

I just got a new Chrosziel matte box that accept the modified anamorphic adapter....really a great piece ... and I would like to know how important and useful can be adding also the "Follow Focus".
I see this accessory as very expensive and I wonder if it will be a real great investment...as I believe it was the matte box!

Congratulations on your new matte box setup! They're great aren't they?!
Focus pullers look kind of cute, but generally serve no real-world application on MiniDV.

It's compulsory.

Brian, I'm surprised you said that! Especially with the micro35, I'd say they are *very* important, or at least highly desireable :)

In deep focus photography (i.e. - anamorphic DVX100) there is little reason to have a focus puller since there isn't much to "pull" on ! I merely encourage responsible financial management and Yes, a micro35 is a wiser investment than a focus puller. :)

lol - you should start a whole thread on responsible financial management. As in, I'm not sure filmmaking is very conducive to it!
