Follow Focus used on bare HPX170 lens ???

Is anyone using a follow focus on the bare 170 lens? I didn't use one on my DVX when I had it and the slight angle of the lens ring leads me to believe that something has to be more custom to fit this then standard gears or I'm just not aware of what else is out there option wise.

Not using an adapter on this cam but prefer the follow focus for run and gun with shoulder mount.

Any thoughts?

First Panasonic has to fix the excessive lateral lens play in the HPX170. As it stands for many,
if not most 170's, you cannot do a rack focus on a long focal length without seeing side to side
image shift. I think a follow focus would exacerbate the horizontal shift due to potential side
forces it could exert. We are awaiting word from Panasonic as to how/when they will repair our HPX170's.
