Follow-focus gear for HPX170?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a follow-focus gear that will fit the HPX170 stock lens? I'm having a hard time finding one that is large enough. Plus, the "uneven" shape of the rubber ring also seems to pose a problem with certain designs.

Is there anyone that is currently using a FF on the HPX170 w/o a 35mm adapter? If so, where did you get your FF lens gear?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried the redrock ring, but it doesn't work well at all.

The vocas ring should work good with the 170. I'm assuming the DVX and HPX focus ring is the same diameter, but you might want to check on that.

Amazing how a plastic ring can cost so much...

Might look at Zacuto's Zip gears - I'd give them a call or e-mail though and see if they've tested them with the 170. That angled focus ring is just odd. The Zip gears are fantastic on other lenses and really easy to put on.
