Hello all,
I have a Durus FF coming from Cinevate late this month and I'm trying to settle on a crank and a whip. Redrock Micro's would be sort of the economical choice but I like my gear a little more professional in fit in finish: Chrosziel, Arri, Zacuto etc. Anyone have advice to offer? Not exactly the most important components of a follow focus setup but I'd rather make the right purchase. Judging solely from pictures, I think I like Zacuto's whip the most. Their crank is very expensive, but is a bit more complex / is more versatile than the typical design. And Zacuto's stuff looks to be all metal. If I'm not mistaken, Arri and Chrosziel both use plastic knobs in their cranks and whips.
