focus scale?

Has anyone seen (or perhaps created) focus/distance scale for the Ana Lens? You know, something that would tell me what MF number to go to based on the distance (measured in ft or meters) of my subject to the focal plane...

Is something like this possible. And would it help those shooting with the Ana lens and not using an ext monitor? Just a thought...

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

It would be handy. I haven't done it or heard of anyone who has. You'd have to make sure that your lens was calibrated ot the same focus marks (if your lens screws onto yoru camera just a hair further than someone else's does, it might throw the focus chart off).

But yes, it'd be nice to have. Any volunteers?

Has anyone done this for just the stock lens?

i have a dvx-100a, i'm not sure how that might differ from a dvx-100 but i was just about to understake this project.

i'd be happy to post my results.

not sure what other people would want, i guess i was just going to wing it and make up some standard distances and go from there.

does anyone have a pdf file perhaps of a decent focus chart? that would help out.

Hey, I didn't do that, I just found it, someone else did that months and months ago.

And I'm waiting for someone to step up to the plate and make an anamorphic-lens version too...
