Focus Ring Greasing for Iscorama

Hey Guys,

So I've bought an Iscorama 36 anamorphic adapter for a project coming up in a few months. I've been running tests with it, and I've noticed the focus ring on the lens is pretty hard to turn, enough so that it actually moves the element causing the image to skew. I was wondering if you guys knew of any reputable lens repair/maintenance type vendors who might be able to grease the lens up... or something of that sort. Particularly one that would be comfortable with working on an old Iscorama lens.

Thanks! Any help would be hugely appreciated.

John Van Stelten at Focal Point in CO was Isco's USA repair guy until Schneider bought them. Haven't used him yet, but am planning to send my Iscorama 54 his way shortly. He is familiar with Iscos and happy to work on them.

Awesome! Thanks man, I'm going to drop him a line. That's a huge help.

Just scoured ebay non-stop man. Paid much cash for it. Worth every penny. It's MC but I actually prefer that.
