Look what Focus Enhancements came up with.

1. It's fairly inexpensive compared to competitors.
2. It embeds the audio.
3. It bolts to the bottom of the camera.

I just came across that when looking for a solution to the problem of unplugging the component cable when I have video assist and they need an SD signal. I'd like to know if it can take a panasonic battery ( it does say 7.2volts but no mention of a battery mount).
Looks like a good product though.
Here's what I did today, worked really well.
AJA HD10AVA or HD10A for analog HDRGB(HVX) to HDSDI, PLUS a HD10MD3 for HDSDI to SDSDI and composite
