focal length finder?

When using an interchangeable lens camera system I want to be able to utilize all my lenses. Is there any accessory that will allow you to look through some sort of viewfinder/telescope sorta thing that lets you see the complete image plane with indicators of focal lengths throughout the image so you can make an accurate decision on which lens to pull out of the bag. I'm sure alot of people have a pretty good idea on what focal length they need to get the shot,but I would like to look through a little scope and get a pretty exact idea so I don't have to pull out and try more than one lens.

are you thinking of a directors viewfinder? I have never used one and am not sure their usefulness in still photography. I think the best solution is to practice practice practice and it will become second nature as to what focal length would work in what situation.
 
Experience is the best tool. Learn your lenses & know before what will they look like in the situation you are shooting. It's not hard, I did it as well as most other working still shooters.
 
To add to what everyone else is saying, focal length does not always translate to the same field of view....which I believe is what you are talking about. If someone did make one of these, they would have to make them based on the type and make of camera......and that is a lot of product for something I don't think many people would use. I'm assuming if you have the time to look through a special FOV viewfinder, that you can try a few lenses and move your camera to see what you like best. And like Charlie said, just get to know your equipment and you will know before you look what lens you need.
