Hi all,
I recently put together a 'behind the scenes' video ( 2 min 55 sec ) of one of my editorial photo shoots. I cut together footage from a Panny HMC40 30fps, 1/60th and a Nikon D7000 30 fps, 1/60th.
I edited in Final Cut Express, AIC, all rates, 1920x1080i60 timeline. I'm getting a 'fluttering' look in my cross dissolves at 1:42, 1:49 and 1:54 as the footage moves from HMC40 to a still with motion using keyframes and then from that still back to HMC40 footage and then again from still with keyframe motion back to HMC40 footage. The very next cross dissolve from HMC40 footage to still with keyframe motion is clean but exiting that still back into HMC40 footage I get the fluttering again. When I export to MP4 using Quicktime Conversion I use H.264 compression and select 'current' for frame rate and 'automatic' for key frame and optimize for streaming. I'm not sure what this 'fluttering is. Can anyone help me out with this?
Here is a link to the video AkronLife Magazine photo shoot
Thanks.
Dennis
