i need to show my actors on the beach

but

i cant afford flying them to florida so...

how can i cheat florida beach (palm trees) being in nyc?

i got some shells from florida (more colorful) but are there any palm trees in the nyc .... any ideas how to do it?

I just happen to have some 24p footage of a Florida beach, and it happens to be exactly for the purpose of selling as stock footage.

How fortunate that the Internet has brought us together!

HI my friend,

I did not mention that I shoot in ... PAL and prefere to have PAL footage.

If I will not find anything shoot in PAL .... do you know if it's possible to put together 25p and 24p? I think it's possible but probably not worth... I don't know.

Hmmmmmm....maybe Green Screen? There ARE beaches in NY on the coast so you might be able to film some stuff there then either shoot other stuff against a Green Screen or get some stock footage of a Florida Beach and composite your shots together.

I think I will shoot my actors on the beach with ocean in the back, next cut to the guy with florida t-shirt (selling ice cream or something) and next cut to the shells I found in florida last summer (more colorful that those in nyc) and next stay with close ups.

It's only one scene so I will be fine probably.
No money - more creativinty, right?
