Flo light vs Cool light Kinos?

Has anyone compared the Flo light 330W (6 bulb) flourescents to the equivilent Cool Light CL-655PMD?
The Flo light is a bit heavier though oddly only 2"" deep vs 4" for the Cool light, but the Cool light has switches for each pair of bulbs which is good. Any other differences - like bulbs or just general build quality and how well they last?

Experiences with the mount for the Cool light?

I would probably get a Diva but I prefer the larger source that a 6 light gives you.

I've got 2 of the CL455PMD (which is not what you asked about) and I'm extremely pleased with them. I got both sets of daylight and tungsten balanced bulbs as well as the egg crates and think they are great. Can't tell you about the other brand, but I can tell you what you probably already read many times here that the owner, Richard, of Cool Lights, is always available and great to deal with and he stands behind his product 100%. Try to get the owner of any of the other light company to return an e-mail or personally see to it that your issues are taken care of IF you were to have one.

I'd buy from him again gladly.

Another vote for cool lights. Richard invariably answers emails within a few hours. You didn't mention if you were interested in the studio or the smaller traveling models. I purchased a couple of the traveler model 455 series. They are lite. Great for travel, but if the size and weight wasn't crucial, I would purchase the larger all metal model. They are a bit less expensive to boot.

If you go with the traveler model, pony up for the quick release plate system for the ball mountings. $25 well spent.

Anybody try the Stellar panel flo's?. Look to have a similar price to the Flolights but maybe a better build? Hard to find any info on them. I actually have the Stellar ring light and it's not bad for the price. Put's out a lot of decent quality light though it does start to band a bit at higher shutter speeds. I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned here yet.
