Flipping the Dock Area?

1) Click "Options."
2) Hold down Shift while you choose "Preferences."
3) You'll see an extra tab in the dialogue box -- "Internal." Choose that.
4) At the bottom, you'll see a search window. Type in "Dock."
5) You'll see an item -- "Frame Dock at the Top." Its value is "false." Change it to "true."
6) Do NOT monkey with anything else in that Internal area.

There is a tutorial on customizing Vegas that shows this.
As David mentions, not a good idea to mess with anything in the internal prefs as this could cause you to have to reset Vegas back to defaults.
