flipping LCD

I'm told by Redrock that my HMC can flip the LCD so I won't need to purchase the additional flipping hardware. Problem is I can't figure out how to flip the imnage on the LCD, does anyone know where in the menu I can do this or do I need to have the adapter on first before I can flip the LCD? Also if I correct the image right side up after the adapter is on, will the image also appear right side up through a monitor? Thanks
 
it took me a week to get someone to help me with my hpx170 lcd flip. first go to menu #3 sw mode ,the last thing is lcd ,put it on lcd rev . then nothing will happen . after you flip out the lcd hit the lcd button bottom left after you flip out the lcd. wa.la..
