flipping image for 35mm adapter

just got an ifocus 35mm adapter. Great stuff. But of course the image is flipped. Was wondering if anyone knows a simple method to flipping the image. I know theres a post about taking out a piece from the lcd bridge but im too afraid of damaging the camera. I have a dvx100a any advice would really help me out thanks
 
I believe sticking a magnet in a certain part near the lcd flips it; search around here for "35mm adapter magnet" and you'll find results for sure.
