Flipping 35mm Adapter Footage in CS4

Well, I just made the switch from my aging Mac with FCP to a really decked out PC with Premiere. So far I think it's been a good decision, but going from FCP to Premiere has been a touch bumpy. I can't figure out a good way to flip my upside-down HVX-200 footage before I drag it onto my timeline. It seems I can't apply effects (Transform > Rotate) to clips in the bins - I can only apply effects once they land in the timeline.

What can I do to flip all my footage either before importing, or just after I import it into my project? Really looking for a "paste attributes" sort of solution, although I'm up for whatever you pros are doing.

To the best of my knowledge it only works on the timeline. Which makes sense to me. You can always copy your movement settings and paste it on all the other clips. I don't know if you can paste effects with multiple clips selected, though. Or you could use a third party program, but that would mean re-rendering.

[edit] It looks like RayLight can do this with 720p footage without recompressing, but not 1080.
