flickering line at top of footage

I am noticing a flickering single pixel line at the top of all my footage. It is really evident on footage that is slowed down.

does anybody know what this is or how to alleviate it?

I have seen the same thing on FCP and other editors on PC screens, but never on TV, which crops 5-10 % of the picture. I think it is an inherent thing in digital video and only concerns those making net videos, as there is no croping there. You can fix the thing with a 1 pixel wide black line mask on the top.
 
yea, you are right you dont see it on TV, at least a 16:9 TV. However you do see it on 4:3 TV's when you show the 16:9 footage on them.

I guess I can just mask it. Thanks for the idea. What's the easiest way to add a global mask?
