Flickering in helicopter shots

So I've done 2 helicopter aerial shoots now and on the first one I didn't really run into this problem. On this last shoot, however most of the footage has a constant flickering look to it. Is this from the sun passing through the rotors?

None of the chopper is in frame. I'm pointed at the ground. Anyone here familiar with this issue, why it happened or know how to fix it in post?

Cheers,

Most likely you had some sunlight through the rotors falling on the front of the lens and causing a haze . . . but not directly enough into the lens to cause a flair. The obvious solution is to flag off the lens, most easily with a matt box and eyebrow. Or, extend a free hand out to block the sunlight from the lens.
Don't know any easy edditing fix. You could add a controlled haze effect to the shaded frames, possibly. Hope the scene is short.
Good luck.
