Flicker in WMP?

When watching my 4:3 DV-AVI files in Windows Media Player or Ultraplayer, there is a slight flicker to the picture, mainly at the top and bottom, however when I watch it in Winamp it's flawless...Any ideas on remedying this problem?

Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that WMP has a widescreen?
 
Yeah, that's it...But that flicker just seems to ruin the entire video...Is it only an occurence in WMP, because I don't get it anywhere else.
 
I've always been told that they were normal, and usually masked by the display device (televisions, for instance). WMP might just be showing more than it should.
