Ok i have this problem where i've got an avi file from my friend who cut in PPro we shot in 24pa but the file is 29.97 so i did some tightening up in FCP on a regular 29.97 timeline after converting the avi to a mov. The problem im facing is i have serious flicker at any point that there was a blown highlight etc. Once i add the flicker filter in FCP it goes away on my tv monitor but once i have converted in compressor for dvd the flicker seems to return.
any suggestions?
