Flashpoint LED 70 $65 ??

Looks funky =)

It is 5600K color temperature. If you use it indoor, it will be very blue. It doesn't look like it comes with CTO to lower the color temperature to be used indoor. That will be a problem. You can add your own gel to make it closer to 3200K to be used indoor, but adding gel will lower the brightness for sure.

Awesome, let me know how it is!

I've got gels out the wazoo, so no worries there. I'm mostly just gonna use it as a backlight for run-n-gun interviews or as a quick tiny fill/eye light for short films and such.

Really curious about these lights. They definitely look like the same ones on ebay. Please let me know what you think about them once you get them in. If they are too bright, could they just be used as a portable light on a stand? Maybe for interviews?
Thanks

That particular light is 5500K day light. It doesn't seem like it offers any gel, or any gel holder to correct the color temperature easily. It will be problematic to use the LED light indoor. Video will be too blue and people will look like corpse. You can read more in my blog

The images attached here is from the SWIT S-2010 LED light. It has a gel to correct the lower temperature but at the same time, reduces the amount of light output.

I received my light last friday, I tested it and it was not blue at all but the output was not very strong, but it just costed me $67.00. Here is the video without correction, as shot:

Thanks for sharing the video. It looks good. You are correct, it doesn't show as very blue or too "cool". Is the 0db and 6db the AGC settings on your XH-A1? It looks good at 6db but very dark at 0db consider it's only 6 feet distance.
