Flash & Safari Problem ?

Flash and Safari aren't getting along. I don't know what the deal is, but I've tried google and it seems that I'm the only one. Whenever I try to view a clip that's flash it skips and then plays and then skips and plays. Some sites even lock up and don't allow me to quit. I have to hit Apple + Option + ESC to get out.

Anyone having this problem?

We should have a little section here on Mac Guru problems

as a pure guess sounds like its a buffering problem;

(1) right click on the flash content:

(2) then hit settings

(3) then click on the local storage tab (little folder icon)

(4) then slide the bar to unlimited

(5) then as the video loads hit pause,

(6) let the video buffer (at least 2/3 of the video length or better yet to the end)

(7) Enjoy movie and watch without any stuttering.

If Anhar's method doesn't work:

I just recently had to uninstall and reinstall flash because it wasn't working properly in Safari. Worked fine in Firefox, but not safari.

If you search adobe, or even google I think, for "flash uninstall" you'll come across it. Strange thing is, is that I ran the uninstaller, but it said it did not work. I ran it again, same problem. I went and downloaded the newest flash anyway, installed, and problem fixed.

The uninstaller said it wasn't working right, but in fact, it did uninstall...
