Flash .flv renders?

Hi all,

Did a search on the archives and didn't find this -

Is there a direct way to render from Vegas into an FLV? Right now I'm rendering to WMV then importing that in to Flash, and it is beastly slow to have to essentially render everything twice.

Any help is appreciated. If I missed a thread on this, a pointer is cool too.

There is no way to directly output Flash from within Vegas. You could FrameServe to eliminate the extra render. A FrameServer is software that creates a dummy/stub AVI file that when opened in another application, starts Vegas rendering directly into the application that opened the file. This will give you the highest quality because your FLV file will be created directly from the Vegas timeline. You can find a really nice free FrameServer at DebugMode.com.

can you explain that a lil more Johnny ? How do we do this ? Suppose i have a small animation set up on my vegas timeline. Now i want to render a swf or fla file .... what will the steps be ? Thank You.
