Hey Y'all,

Trying to duplicate an effect found in one of our very own DVX User's music videos:

Around :46 you can see a blue light streak across the video. I can think of a few ways to get something similar, but is there a go to way that most people do this?

I was thinking mask a solid color layer, change the mode to add or lighten, ad a glow effect? i'm trying that but not getting amazing results.

The lines on that video, I'de go with a nice directional blur, mask off what you like, and color it. Using just a soild would not have a nice i lightened inside.

Look up some Lightsaber tutorials and then just directional blur the hell out of it.

For the shutter streak, that video is downloading now. I'm thinking motion tile or something similar with another directional blur so it wraps around the frame from bottom to top? Hmmm.
