Flange Focal Distance Eclair NPR

Hi,

I bought an NPR some months ago and I've just shot a short eith it. 95% of the shots where unsharp. I think the problem might be with the flange focal distance, since I shot with three different lenses (C-moun and Arri Standard), the image in the viewfinder was sharp, I measured everything and I can't get a sharp image in infinity. Shots made with the object very near the camera are sharp tough.

Does anybody know where the Eclair is adjustable to correct this problem?

Thanks

Theo

if both c mount and arri mt are soft - make sure the turret is seated correctly when switching from screw mt to arri standard .. you have to make sure it is pushed back ( as you push in in wiggle it slightly ) and the turning locking thing is tight ?

Everything seems to be tight in the turret.
If the image is sharp on the ground glass and in the viewfinder, isn't the problem probably on the film plate?

from what i remember if both C mt and arri mt are giving you soft images then it might not be the flange because it would be odd that both flanges would be out ? ( but it is possible) .. so with both soft it might be the turret or could be something with the view finder ground glass not seated correctly ?
if you tested both focus by VF and taped measured (and both are slightly different on lens ft scale ) and BOTH are soft then i would send it in to be looked at ...
