Fixing audio so that it doesn't only play in one speaker

So I've got a video that only plays audio out of one speaker. I've got Adobe Master Suite CS5, but I'm new to it and am not really sure how to fix it. But is there a way to just copy the right audio track to the left side so that it'll play the audio from both speakers? It seems like this should be easy enough to fix, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Remove the clip from the timeline and right-click it in the Project area...then select Modify-->Audio channels and play around with. If you do this with the clip in the timeline, everything will be grayed out.

Or..

-In the timeline, unlink the audio and video (right-click -->Unlink)
-add a separate audio track if required.
-select and copy the audio (Ctrl+C)
-de-select select the old audio track
-select the new audio track and paste (Ctrl+V)
-sync them up and re-link

You can select and de-select tracks for insertion by clicking them on the left hand side (where it says Video 1 or Video 2 or Audio 1 etc etc)...

It sounds difficult but it takes 2 seconds once you do it a few times.

Your second method will only add volume to the right channel, it won't fill the left with audio. That's what the Fill effect is for.

You can drag the new audio track to whichever channel you like. If your sequence is P2 and your left and right channel are separate, just drag the audio copy to the blank channel and you have stereo.

Premiere Pro doesn't have Left and Right channel assignments to it's tracks. Meaning no particular audio track is assigned by default to the Left or Right channel. You'd have to adjust the Balance of a track manually for that occur.

Ahhh..my mistake. I'm used to working with P2 footage, which is broken out into 2 mono tracks, so the left and right channels appear on separate tracks instead of one stereo track.

I just added a stereo track and yes, Fill Right/Fill Left is the way to go.
