Fixing a high pitched crack in voice in FCP 7

Sorry if this is a dumb and already answered question. My friends voice gets kind of high and cracks mid sentence and am wondering how to deepen it mildly to make it not so noticable. I would like to use Final Cut Pro 7 built in audio filters. Thanks so much for your help!

This isn't just a filter - it will be a proper rebuild, so a real sound editor is needed. However, if, when you mean there's a crack - as in similar to when people's voices break, there's actually a gap - so you need to find the gap, and fill it - which takes a bit of time and skill. Not something a video editor can do. Sony Soundforge, Adobe Audition, or one of the recording packages like Cubase, Logic etc. You do it in those, then import the audio back onto the editor.
